ABOUT US

THE PARKINSON’S RESOURCE CENTER OF SPOKANE  (PRC) is a not-for-profit charitable corporation established in 2001 to provide a resource for patients with Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers. The 11-member Board of Directors is composed of individuals from the Inland Empire. The PRC is an organization exempt under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code, and donations to the PRC are generally tax deductible.

OUR MISSION:

The Parkinson’s Resource Center of Spokane exists:

  • To improve the conditions and enhance the quality of life for people affected by Parkinson's disease.
  • To serve as a network where all people affected by Parkinson's disease can call or come in for assistance in locating professionals familiar with the treatment of PD. Efforts will be directed toward education, empowerment, wellness, resources, and research which will cure or delay the progression of Parkinson's disease.

HOW TO FIND US:

The PRC is located in the Deaconess Health and Education Center, on the ground floor, in Suite 256. Parking is available on-street or in the Health and Education Center garage. The DHEC is located on 5th Avenue between Lincoln and Monroe streets, just south of Interstate 90 in Spokane.
